Hmm, I guess I just... always knew, even if I didn't always have a word for it? From the time I knew what a crush was, I was already having them for people no matter how they identified. And my parents just rolled with it, so I didn't know that wasn't how it was for everybody until I got a little older.

[ York laughs, too, though, starting to feel the warmth of the drink he's had loosening his limbs. ]

I wouldn't trade it?

I guess it sounds like a nice way to be. I'm used to being me, though.

I wouldn't change you, either.

[bothbarrels]

[ He smiles and reaches into the bag to get the other little bottle of alcohol that he'd brought. He cracks the cap open and takes a small drink. ]

I'm glad to know.

[ York eyes the bottle. He's not going to ask North if he's sure that's a good idea, as his friend seems to be in a good mood... but he'll definitely keep his good eye on the mood of things. ]

Are we switching to Never Have I Ever?

[ He sets the bottle in his lap, clutching it with 3 fingers. ]

[ York smirks. ]

Never have I ever shot a sniper rifle.

[bothbarrels]

[ North snorts and takes a drink from his bottle. ]

Never have I ever had sex in public.

[ North laughs. ]

Someplace where you could or did easily get caught. Like in a car.

[ York drinks. ]

Never have I ever pierced anything.

[ North drinks, chuckling. ]

See, you keep going for things you know I've done.

Never have I ever lied to someone in order to get laid.

You think I'd do that? I'm offended.

[ He doesn't drink, but doesn't actually look offended either. ]

[ North takes a drink, since York didn't. ]

[bothbarrels]

[ North angles the rim of the bottle toward York. ]

Hey, that wasn't me.

I wasn't referring to anything in particular.

[ Yes he was. ]

[ North looks at him, waiting for him to drink before he goes on to say: ]

Never have I ever been banned from a bar.

[infailtration]

[ York drinks, and is just lowering the bottle when North brings that one out and he has to drink again. Goddamnit. ]

That wasn't my fault, either, I was trying to break up the fight.

[bothbarrels]

[ North grins. ]

You know how it is.

Never have I ever... hmm. Bailed anyone out of jail.

[ North drinks at that one. ]

[ York can guess, but doesn't. He unwraps another chocolate with. grin instead, waiting for his next inevitable drink. ]
