[On Christmas Day Kokichi can find a small covered bowl sitting in a larger bowl full of ice, set neatly on the table next to the couch with a note and spoon next to it. Jack may or may not have had to move some of Kokichi's junk to set it up there, but he's sure the kid will wander back to find it eventually.

The smaller bowl is filled with Tang Yuan, bright multicolored sweet rice dumplings in ginger syrup.

The note next to it simply says "For, Kokichi", with no indication of who it's supposed to be from, though the messy script is pretty easily identifiable as Jacks.]
