At least we don't have trouble with the food here because of that. In the mess, I mean. It's more crap, but at least it's food.

God, yeah. Least it’s a consistent fuckin’ meal. Total slop half the time, but better than nothing. Won’t stop me bitching, because fuck the corp for being cheap asses, but, well, you know.

[ She’s had access to a decent sparring partner on occasion since getting here and she’s trying to cover her weak spots, mostly her being too reliant on having someone at her back, but... sparring with North’s different than sparring with anyone else. ]

[ He's glad she brought that up. It means things are getting back to normal between them...or maybe better than normal. ]

[ Another yawn, a big one, which he doesn't try to stifle. ]

I feel like I'm dreaming already.

What part of this is like dreaming, you dumbass? [ as it usually is, the insult is as fond as it is an insult ] Go to sleep. Told you I'll fuck off and let you have your quiet.

[ He stirs a little, nestling his head against the pillow. ]

Eh, never mind.

[ With that his head is down and his eyes are closed. He may look as if he'd fallen asleep instantly. ]

[ She's not letting that slide so simply, so she doesn't get up and leave immediately. If he's actually passed straight out, or is intent on acting as such, she'll leave after sitting there for a few minutes in silence to be sure, but if not... ]

[ A hand raises just to wave her off, then tucks under his chin. He's out, whether she likes it or not. ]

[ She rolls her eyes at him, but she does as she said she would. Gets up and leaves to occupy herself with... something, she isn't really sure what; helping clean up after the fight, maybe, or just going for a walk.

Musses his hair up on her way past, though, just because she can, just because he's alive. ]
